Detailed
Scheduling and Planning
Explore various techniques for material and
capacity scheduling.
Designed for those wanting to advance their knowledge about
production and inventory management and/or pursuing their CPIM
designation, this course includes detailed descriptions of materials
requirement planning (MRP), capacity requirements planning (CRP),
inventory management practices and procurement and supplier
planning. Topics include: planning material requirements to support
the master schedule; planning operations to support the priority
plan; and planning procurement and external sources of supply.

Text includes a practice questions CDR. Tests are administered by
ASI, with the nearest test site in Schererville, Ind. You will

Execution and Control
of Operations
Learn how to
prioritize and sequence work, with techniques for scheduling and
controlling production processes.
Designed for
mid-level production managers and those interested in pursuing their
CPIM certification. This course will focus on the areas of
prioritizing and sequencing work, executing work plans and
implementing controls, authorizing and reporting activities for push
and pull systems, reporting activity results and providing
evaluating feedback on performance. In addition you will learn
techniques for scheduling and controlling production processes, the
execution of quality initiatives and continuous improvement plans,
and the control and handling of inventories. The required
participant workbook (see note below) includes a CD-ROM with
practice questions.
