Level 1 Picture This: Using Digital Cameras Thinking of purchasing a digital camera? Have one but don’t understand how to use it? This class will help. Level 2 Digital Photography Taking digital pictures requires more than knowledge of the technical aspects of the camera. TOPICS: • Learn to take "wow" digital photos • Learn basics of composition, exposure, and capture • Discuss advanced techniques such as creative lighting, filters, angles, and depth control	Prerequisite: Students must provide their own digital camera and be comfortable with its operation. See Using Digital Cameras if you do not have experience. Notes: Students will receive a photo assignment each class to complete and bring to the next class. Results will be shared in class. Level 2 Working with Your Digital Photos Using Photoshop Elements Use Photoshop Elements, an affordable software program, to enhance your digital photos. TOPICS: • Adjust color, lighting, alignment and apply artistic effects • Fix red-eye problems • Restore old photos and combine photographs • Prepare photos for sending via e-mail or posting on the Web	Prerequisite: Using Digital Cameras or prior experience.
