Having trouble finding your familiar commands in the new Access 2007? We can help in this hands-on class. Understand the new Ribbon Bar and command buttons. Put back the toolbar buttons you love. See the changes in Access features such as table and report creation, grouping, filtering and sorting. Become familiar with new features such as field templates, report and layout views, multiple value fields, and an interactive calendar.

Queries:

• Learn how and why to use Append, Delete, Update, Make Table and Crosstab queries

• Use complex queries and user- defined functions
Forms:

• Create complex forms, subforms and a process for adding new lookup values

• Control how users enter information

• Use Query by Form to create a dynamic user interface for report generation.

• Allow multiple users to simultaneously add and edit Access data

• Design user groups

• Require user ID’s and passwords and assign permission levels

• Create an Access menu system with push buttons, check boxes, drop-down lists and easy-to-use forms and reports

• Set a security interface and record locking options to prevent data loss
