Business Organizations

A comparison of the forms of business organizations; corporate structure and organizations and an examination of the state General Cooperation Act; articles of incorporation and bylaws; conduct of corporate business through annual meetings; issuance of stock; and an introduction to employee relations and benefit plans. Includes paralegal methods seminar in Business Organization.

Word Processing Skills Test

In order to graduate, you must pass this test with 75% correct unless you have successfully passed A106, K201 or an equivalent credit class within 3 years prior to the anticipated certificate completion date.

 

The test consists of two parts. You must pass both. You can take both parts during the same test session or you can take them separately.

WordPerfect is still the word processing software of choice for the legal profession, but clients often use Microsoft Word. Learn to work with Word documents. See Word for WordPerfect Users classes.

Creating a Web Site
If you need to create or maintain a website, you should learn the coding for all web pages, HTML, or how to use an HTML editor such as FrontPage. See HTML and FrontPage classes.
