Problem Solving - Workshop     NEW 

Learn and use the key quality tools in a disciplined problem-solving process to achieve permanent gains.
Continuous improvement of quality and operational performance is required in ISO 9001:2000 and TS16949 and is essential for all companies to increase their competitive advantages. This two-day workshop provides sufficient time and a hands-on approach to demonstrate effective problem solving and permanent improvements. Exercises will use the major quality tools. The program is designed for production managers and supervisors, design engineers, quality managers, quality professionals and support department personnel.


Workshop Focus:

  • Structured problem-solving methodology

  • Short-term containment and corrective actions

  • Identifying the problem; baseline performance

  • Problem definition, analysis, root case definition

  • Pareto charts, process flow charts, check sheets, cause and effect diagrams, run charts, decision matrix, the five why’s

  • Selecting the solution, planning the tryout, standardizing the gains

  • Verifying effectiveness

Notes: A calculator is required. To get maximum benefit, attendees should bring a real-life problem from their company to work on.

Learn how to conduct internal audits to improve the effectiveness of your quality system and promote continuous actions. Also, learn how to conduct process audits required for ISO 9000/TS16949.
