Conversational Sign Language I

Designed for people who wish to communicate with the deaf and/or hard-of-hearing, this program is an introductory course for those with little or no previous background in signing.

Learn introductory finger-spelling and American Sign Language

Instructor: Susan Nastos, experienced sign language interpreter and instructor.

Continue the study of communicating with the deaf and/or hard-of-hearing and preverbal young children in this advanced-level class.

Learn additional vocabulary, key grammatical features of American Sign Language and more about the hearing-impaired culture.

Prerequisite: Conversational Sign Language I

Instructor: Cheryl Stillson, M.A., Ball State University; directory of deaf ministry, Albright United Methodist Church; speech and language pathologist.
