The IU South Bend Franklin D. Schurz Library and the campus American Democracy Project are working together to bring One Book, One Campus to Indiana University South Bend during the 2007-2008 school year. This is the fourth year of the program. The book for 2007-2008 is An Enemy of the People by Henrik Ibsen. For more information about last year's events please visit the 2006-2007 One Book, One Campus web site.

One Book, One Campus encourages students, faculty, and staff to read the same book and participate in discussions and campus events related to the work.

This is an event that the Library will be doing every year, tying the work into the year's campus theme. The Library hopes to continue working with the American Democracy Project and with the General Education Committee on future One Book, One Campus selections and activities.

The One Book, One Campus committee is Eileen Bender, Elizabeth Bennion, Jim Blodgett, Joe Chaney, Randy Colborn, Louise Collins, Julie Elliott, Linda Fisher, Seianna Giden, Alfred Guillaume, Bill Hojonacki, Jennifer Klein, Ann Magnan-Park, Michelinen Nilsen, Michele Russo, Margaret Scanlan, Ken Smith, and Dave Vollrath.
