An M.B.A. from IU South Bend will not only increase your marketability on the job front but will help you hone the following skills: management, written and verbal communication, teamworking, problem-solving, time management, critical thinking, and cross-cultural awareness.

Our program caters to the part-time MBA student by offering a wide variety of courses during the evening hours. We make it possible for you to continue in your present position while attending classes after work.

The faculty considers the candidate's work experience as an integral part of the total educational program and uses both theory and practice as tools to build a broad foundation to enhance the skills of the professional manager.

The School of Business at Indiana University South Bend has more than a quarter of a century of experience granting graduate business degrees. We are proud to be among the approximately 24 percent of colleges and universities offering degrees in business accredited by AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.

Special Opportunities

Our masters' degree programs prepare you for a lifetime of learning. Successful people know that to remain viable in the work place, they must train for the future. Each of our graduates is better prepared to take leadership positions because of the knowledge, analytical and critical thinking skills they developed in our program.

We cater to the part-time MBA student by offering a wide variety of courses during the evening hours. We make it possible for you to continue in your present position while attending classes after work. Our program helps you polish and accentuate your existing business skills and develop new ones. A master degree can help you achieve career advancement in your current field or help prepare you for a new career in the business world.

Most of our students already hold responsible business-management positions. Indeed, the majority of our business graduate students hold down full-time jobs while pursuing their master's degree. The typical candidate enters the program because their present or future position requires increased managerial competence.

While there is opportunity for specialization, we emphasize development of the candidate's breadth of focus, imagination, and creativity. By selecting students who have demonstrated a potential for assuming increasing responsibilities as managers, and by providing a degree that meets the highest national standards of accreditation, the IUSB Masters of Business Administration serves the need of regional employers that compete internationally.
