Thank you for already taking the first steps to become a member of the Indiana University South Bend community. As a newly admited international student the Office of International Student Services is available to:

  • answer questions about obtaining student visas to enter the United States and traveling to the United States
  • provide information and answer questions about orientation and placement exams
  • assist students with housing questions and issues
  • provide information about university policies

Below and on the left are links to online resources to help you begin your process as a new Indiana University South Bend Student.

Getting Visa
In your admission packet is your new I-20, information about paying the I-901 SEVIS fee and other important information.

Spring Orientation will be January 6th and 7th. Orientation begins at 8:30am on January 6th.

If you need transportation from South Bend/Michiana Regional Airport, please contact the OISS.
