Career Services Office Literature

The Career Services Office publishes the Career Development Bulletin and the Stall News publications each semester to inform students about on-campus recruiting and career events. Organizations that participate in the on-campus interviewing program, information tables or information sessions will have their recruiting event and information published in these publications.

Employer Literature Displays

Literature display racks can be placed in the Career Service Office or around campus to target certain groups of students. Employers would need to provide both the literature and display rack. For employers who wish to display a small amount of information, employer binders are kept in the Career Education Library for students to view. Clubs and Organizations

Employers are encouraged to contact the various clubs and organizations on campus to advertise career opportunities and organization information. With the permission of the faculty sponsor or club president, employers may be permitted to conduct information sessions at the club or organization meetings to generate an interest in your company. This is a great way for students, faculty and employers to network and build relationships.

Faculty Members

Faculty members can be a wealth of information and invaluable recruiting tool for employers. Faculty members may be able to pass along career opportunities and information to their students. Some faculty members will allow employers to make presentations in their classrooms also.

Campus Bulletin Boards

Bulletin boards are available for posting company information, job openings and flyers. There are approximately 33 various bulletin boards around campus, including general and department bulletin boards. Employers need to contact the Office of Student Life to get approval to post flyers on general boards. Departmental bulletin boards will also require permission to post from the individual department.

Student Newspaper—The Preface

The Preface is published bi-weekly during the Fall and Spring semesters. Employers can place advertisements for employment opportunities or services by contacting them at: (574) 520-4325 (newsline) or (574) 520-4553 (advertising) or preface_iusb@hotmail.com.
