A drawing of the Gunther and Barbara Jordan International Center. The Jordan International Center supports international students and scholars while they study at IU South Bend. We celebrate the positive aspects of cultural, social, and political diversity among people by serving as a link between international students, the International Student Organization (ISO), and the IU South Bend community.

The center is a home away from home for international students. Our programs and priorities include:

  • Hosting academic and cultural programs that provide a broad-based international perspective, in conjunction with the International Programs Advisory Council
  • Working to internationalize the IU South Bend curriculum and to inform faculty about international grants and Fulbright opportunities
  • Maintaining the Study Abroad Resource Room to promote existing and develop new overseas study and student exchange programs
  • Providing meeting space for the International Student Organization (ISO) and other international clubs and organizations from IU South Bend and the surrounding communities
  • Promoting campus- and community-based international programs and events

Please contact the center to learn more about our various programs and services.
