Jan Jordan. Directs Art for Humanity, a non-profit volunteer association that advocates human rights through the medium of the visual arts. It was established in 1988 and, since then, has conducted three projects (South African Bill of Rights Print Portfolio, 1996; Universal Declaration of Human Rights - International Print Portfolio, 1999; and Break the Silence - HIV/AIDS Billboard and Print Portfolio, 2000) which effectively demonstrated that art does not only inspire but is equally important as an advocacy tool.
