The School of Public & Environmental Affairs (SPEA) Alumni Association is proud to announce the creation of three $500 scholarships for current SPEA students.  The scholarships will be awarded to two undergraduate and one graduate student, from any IU campus, who meet the following qualifications:

¨     Current SPEA student, to complete your final year of school in the academic year 2002-2003.

¨     A minimum GPA of 3.0, provide transcript to show proof of academic status

¨     Completion of a 1-2 page essay on why you should be awarded this scholarship.  Highlight your merits/achievements, including academic success, public and community service, and extracurricular activities.

¨     Submit a letter of recommendation from a SPEA faculty member or a community leader.  Letter should be addressed to the SPEA Alumni Association Board of Directors.

Deadline for applications:  Friday, April 5, 2002

All materials will be reviewed by a SPEA Alumni Association Board Committee.
