Each year, IU South Bend disburses nearly $30 million in federal, state, university, and private aid. In fact, over 50% of our students receive some form of aid through grants (“free money” that is not paid back), scholarships, work-study or loans. Applying for financial aid is free and you need to apply each year. To apply, complete two forms (the FAFSA and the IU South Bend Financial Aid Form) and register for classes. The Office of Financial Aid can help you every step of the way.
