Associate Faculty Advisory Committee
The Associate Faculty Advisory Committee was established to advise the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs on issues, concerns, and developmental needs, and to plan, implement and evaluate programs designed to integrate and improve the effectiveness of the associate faculty. The Committee evaluates candidates for Merit Status; reviews and recommends applications for Associate Faculty Grants.
Each year, seven representative members of the associate faculty are invited by Academic Affairs to serve on the Committee. Any associate faculty member who would like information on to serve on the Committee should inform Academic Affairs, by calling 520-4183. The Committee is convened by a member of Academic Affairs who serves in a non-voting, ex-officio capacity. (adapted from Associate Faculty Handbook, 2000)
