Apply Online

Perhaps the easiest way to apply is to complete our online application. Please be advised, online applications can be delayed by 2 business days due to our online application vendor.

DO NOT USE THE ONLINE APPLICATION IF:

  • You are applying for a Graduate Program. Click http://www.iusb.edu/~graduate/ for specific information.
  • You have previously applied to IU South Bend or have attended any IU campus at the undergraduate or graduate level and plan to continue your studies at the same level. For returning IU South Bend undergraduate students, please contact the Office of Admissions at 574-520-4839. For current or returning undergraduate students from another IU campus, please visit http://www.iupui.edu/~moveiu/ and submit the intercampus transfer request form.
  • You have previously enrolled or are currently enrolled in coursework through the Advance College Project (ACP). Application fees are waived for ACP students who submit a paper application. ACP students who apply online will be charged a non-refundable application processing fee.
  • You are applying for Purdue Statewide Technology. Please call 574-520-4180 or visit http://www.southbend.tech.purdue.edu/

Intercampus Transfers

If you are transferring to IU South Bend from another IU campus, complete the online Intercampus Transfer Application.

Application Priority Dates

The IU South Bend Office of Admissions practices rolling admissions, which means we'll review your application as soon as it arrives. Applications received after the start of classes will be processed on an individual basis. To ensure timely processing and effective communications, please submit the application and all required materials by the following dates:

  Priority Date
Fall Semester July 1
Spring Semester November 1
Summer Sessions I/II April 1

Missing these dates may delay your admission until the following semester. Applicants will be notified by mail of their admission status upon receipt of all required materials.
