We're glad you're interested in IU South Bend. You can begin to explore IU South Bend in two ways:- By taking college classes while you’re
still in high school.

How to Become a Beginning Freshman
- Complete the admission application (you can apply online right now)
- Send your nonrefundable $45 application fee, payable to IU South Bend.
- If you are still in high school, include the counselor recommendation form
- Ask your high school and any colleges you have attended to send us your transcripts.
- If you have been out of high school for less than three years, submit your SAT and/or ACT test scores. When you register for a test, make sure to ask that your score be sent to IU South Bend; our SAT code is 1339 and our ACT code is 1225.
