The best way to really experience IU South Bend is to visit. You can tour our campus, meet current students, learn about our academic programs and services, and hear from a professor or advisor about a specific major.

Our IUSB On Tour program takes place one Wednesday each month during the academic year. The comprehensive campus visit includes:

  • Sessions on the application process, financial aid, and student life
  • Advice from faculty members and current students
  • A walking tour of campus
  • Lunch
  • Preview your Major Sessions (Explore a Major Days Only)
  • OnSite Admissions (optional)

Campus tours will be conducted the first and third Fridays of each month. These sessions are tours only and will not follow the comprehensive schedule listed below. Reservations are not required for these sessions and the tours begin in the Gateway to Excellence (temporarily located outside room 139 of the Administration Building) promptly at 1:00p.

We’ll discuss the application process, including priority dates for admission and financial aid.
9:25 a.m. Scholarships and Financial Aid Session
One of our financial aid counselors will explain two important financial aid forms: the FAFSA and the IU South Bend Financial Aid Form. General financial aid topics will also be covered.
9:45 a.m. Professor’s Perspective
Find out what our professors expect from you and what you can expect from them.
10:00 a.m. Student Life
Representative from various offices and student organizations will be on hand to show you how you can become involved with our vibrant campus life programs.
10:15 a.m. Break
 
10:30 a.m. Student’s Perspective
Learn more about IU South Bend from one of our current students. Come prepared to ask questions!
10:45 a.m. Campus Tour
Current students will lead you on a walking tour of campus.
11:45 a.m. Lunch
Enjoy lunch at the Grille in the Administration Building or the Courtside Café in the Student Activities Center.
1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Preview of your major (November 16, February 27, or March 21 only)
 
1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. OnSite Admissions (October 17, April 12, or June 11 only)
Optional Component: Take the first steps toward earning an Indiana University degree. Attend Indiana University South Bend’s “OnSite Admissions” on one of the dates and times listed below. At “OnSite Admissions” potential students apply in person, meet with an Admissions representative, and receive a decision on their application
3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. OnSite Admissions (November 16, February 27, or March 21 only)
