The mission of the IU South Bend Job Shadowing Program is to connect IU Alumni and current IU students to foster an environment that will assist students in succeeding in their academic endeavors and life goals. Current students are matched with IU alumni who will provide information on their current occupation and day-to-day job-related activities. The information gathered from the meeting will give students working knowledge to make informed decisions regarding their college major while validating if the chosen profession is a match with their interests, values, and personality.
