SERVICE INTERRUPTION: Grades, transcripts, class rosters, eGrade Change, etc. will be unavailable to all faculty, staff, and students beginning Friday February 15 through Wednesday February 20. Please Plan Accordingly!

During this six day period, you may still use Onestart to access Oncourse, email, and to view and pay your bursar account ("Make a Payment" link)

For more information, see SIS Alerts on the Services tab in Onestart.

The Bursar Services Office oversees the administration of tuition and fees, bill payment including payment plans, and sponsor billings.  We can assist you with the following:

  • Pay your bills by mail, drop box, online, or in person
  • Enroll in a two or three month payment plan
  • Request a refund
  • Obtain tax credit information
  • Summer 2007 and Fall 2007 information:   Any student with a past due account will not be able to register for the Summer 2007 or Fall 2007 Terms.

    IU South Bend Registration Agreement

When you register, the University reserves specific class spaces for you and commits resources to provide the instruction you have selected. On your part, you assume the responsibility for paying those course fees or for officially withdrawing by the end of the first week of the term if you decide not to attend.

The availability of courses is subject to change. A section may be cancelled due to low enrollment or departmental staffing considerations. The department canceling a class will notify registered students of the cancellation. It is the student's responsibility, however, to officially drop the class.

At the beginning of the term, your registration will not automatically be cancelled for nonpayment of fees. You must either pay your fees or withdraw from your classes if you do not plan to attend IU South Bend. By canceling your registration before the end of the first week of the term, your class spaces will be released in time to be available to other students.

To cancel your registration, through the end of the first week of the term, use onestart.iu.edu. Beginning with the second week of classes, submit a completed and signed schedule adjustment slip for each course in which you are registered to the IUSB Office of the Registrar.

Check Your Bursar Account Status Online

You can use OneStart, the university's Web-based student information service, to check your bursar account status, review your financial aid awards, and complete and review tax forms.
