Profile
Murali Chari (Previous name: Raman Muralidharan) received his MBA and Ph.D. degrees from Temple University and his M.Com degree from the University of Madras. His research focuses on international and strategic management issues, including corporate diversification, international expansion, cross-border acquisitions, and the implications of ownership differences. He is presently working on international business and strategy issues in an emerging country context. His research has been published in premier academic and practitioner journals including the Journal of International Business Studies , Strategic Management Journal , Management Science , Journal of World Business and Long Range Planning . His work on strategic control systems has earned international recognition, inspiring the development of frameworks used in performance management consulting work in the United Kingdom. He teaches the capstone policy course and the graduate international management course here at Indiana University South Bend.
