Profile Prior to joining the faculty at the School of Business and Economics at IU South Bend in July 2005, Dr. Ducoffe was Associate Dean and Professor of Marketing at the Zicklin School of Business, Baruch College , City University of New York where he worked for 15 years. At Baruch he led the creation of a full-time MBA program, an accelerated part-time MBA program, an internship program, an English communication immersion program, a preliminary program for entering MBA and MS students, and a revised core curriculum for full-time MBA students. He helped lead the successful effort to hire 43 new full-time faculty and nine additional staff in various student and career service areas. Dr. Ducoffe won the President's Award for Distinguished Teaching in 1995, an annual award given to one of Baruch's five-hundred full-time professors. His research has appeared in publications including the Journal of Advertising Research, Journal of Public Policy and Marketing , Journal of Current Issues and Research in Advertising , International Journal of Advertising , Journal of Promotion Management , Advances in Business Marketing and Purchasing , Journal of Direct (now Interactive) Marketing , Journal of Marketing Communication , Journal of Media Economics, Journal of Electronic Commerce in Organizations , Journal of Marketing Education , and in various texts on advertising and media economics. Before entering academia, he worked in radio sales and then in account management with three Canadian advertising agencies on national and international accounts.
