The Decision Sciences department provides the students with the concepts/skills and practices of information management, decision sciences, and operations management for enhancing their analytical ability to make information-based decisions for effective management of core operations and other functional areas of business (accounting, finance, management, and marketing).

As integral part of The School of Business and Economics, the department offers a wide variety of programs and the opportunity to earn Bachelors and Masters degrees. Our Undergraduate and Graduate Programs are accredited by the AACSB-International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Our committed faculty has been recognized for excellence, both in teaching and research and our School has strong ties to the business community through the Bureau of Business and Economic Research, a Student Internship Program, and the annual IU South Bend Job Fair.
