Steps in the Internship Process
1. Set up conference with your academic advisor to confirm number of elective hours available for internship.
2. Contact Internship Coordinator to discuss possible internship projects, to receive approval, and to receive proper paperwork.
3. Once the student has selected an internship, the student shall ask faculty member to sponsor internship.
4. Student and faculty sponsor complete internship paperwork.
5. The student shall return internship paperwork to the Registrar and the Internship Coordinator.
6. Faculty sponsor may require an initial written project prior to the internship experience.
7. Mid term evaluation of intern by employer.
8 .Final written project may be required by faculty sponsor.
9 .Final evaluation of intern by employer.
10. Faculty sponsor shall assign grade and credit.
