Multiple Day or Session Programs:

For programs that meet for two or more sessions, a full refund is issued for withdrawing more than three business days before the first class. After that, a 50 percent refund will be given if the withdrawal is received before the second class session. No refund is issued thereafter. Instead of a 50 percent refund, you may choose to receive a 100 percent letter of credit that may be used for any Continuing Education non-credit program and is good for one year from date of issuance.

One Day (or one session) Programs:

When you withdraw more than three business days before a one-session program, a full refund is issued. If you withdraw one to three business days before the one-session program, a 100 percent letter of credit is issued that may be used for any Continuing Education non-credit program and is good for one year from date of issuance. No refund is issued for withdrawal the day of the program. You may send a colleague in your place if you wish..

Refund Methods:

Payments made by cash or check will be refunded by check from the IU South Bend cashier. Allow two weeks for processing. Payments made by credit card, will have a credit applied to the card. In case of class cancellation, a full refund will be issued.

Note: Refunds are given to the party that pays for the class, not the person attending the class.
