QuickBooks Certified User Exam Preparation
This class is a great resource for using QuickBooks on a daily basis. Core bookkeeping functions are taught to help you capture your business’ vital financial data while getting your job done. This course prepares you with all the topics necessary to master Intuit’s QuickBooks User Certification exam.
Class topics include:
- navigation & feature overview;
- setting up a QuickBooks company;
- managing information;
- banking transactions;
- recording assets, liabilities and equity in QuickBooks;
- tracking cash & credit sales;
- managing Bills and loans;
- analyzing and customizing reports;
- inventory features;
- sales tax compliance;
- payroll, tax and employee systems;
- advanced invoicing techniques; and
- integration with Microsoft products
Note: Anyone may enroll. Prefer some familiarity with QuickBooks for those wanting to sit for Certification Exam. Students can also choose to sit for optional certification test.

QuickBooks for Non-Profits
Charitable organizations do so much good with so few resources that managing them is paramount to their survival. This class focuses on practical planning, analysis and compliance tools every non-profit will appreciate.
Class session includes:
- budgeting and reporting program revenue/expense tracking;
- grant reporting;
- donation receipts; and
- annual giving statements.
A practical guide to translating business & QuickBooks terminology for Non-Profit use is included.

Restaurants, franchises,convenience stores, and boutiques have special needs that QuickBooks may not seem to fit. But as an accounting platform, it will still handle books successfully for such operations with some purposeful setup.
