Emily Fickes t ook Extend Learning Services College Prep classes to give her more confidence in writing, math, and studying and to be comfortable with getting around on campus. Now Emily Fickes has been named an Indiana University Alumni Association Scholar for 2007-07. The award includes a $1,000 scholarship. Fickes is a junior in the nursing program at Indiana University South Bend and plans to pursue a career as a pediatric nurse. |
