Quality Management programs are offered in cooperation with the Michiana chapter of the American Society for Quality (ASQ). Classes prepare individuals for ASQ certification exams. These programs also serve as appropriate refresher and review courses for experienced quality professionals who have already received certification and need RUs, and for those who need quality management knowledge.

Workshop Focus:
• The role of internal auditing in driving continuous improvement
• Principles of effective auditing
• Preparing for and conducting audits
• Audit trails and process audits
• Evaluating non-conformities
• Hands-on exercises will illustrate key points of preparing for and conducting the audit, evaluating and communicating the findings and the follow-up corrective action process.

Who Should Attend: Those responsible for planning, scheduling and/or performing an internal audit program, quality assurance managers, quality assurance professionals, ISO project managers and ISO project team members.

Notes: Understanding of the ISO, QS or TS standard is required. Applies to the Quality Management Certificate; anyone may enroll. Internal auditing training can be provided in your facility, where participants prepare for and conduct an internal audit as an integral part of the training. An update for your current audit team can be provided as well. Call Carolyn Fermoyle at 574/520-4261 for details.
