Plumbing 101  -  Feb. 6 & 13

Sponsored by the
Historic Landmarks Foundation of Indiana

In cooperation with the
YWCA of St. Joseph County

Home repair and maintenance can be intimidating to many men and women. Historically, fathers often teach their sons how to be handy but neglect to take the same amount of time to teach their daughters. Eighty-five percent of American women will, at some point in their lives, take on sole responsibility of a home. Now is the time to learn how take care of it.

This beginner's course is designed to give women the information and skills needed to handle many repair and maintenance issues around their homes and apartments of any age, including when you can do it yourself and when you need to use an outside professional.

Class Schedule:
Each class, except Tools, will meet twice. The first night will be lecture and demonstration. The second night will be a field trip to try out your new skills. Students may meet on campus and carpool for the field trip. See each class for dates and times.

Fee: $76 for each 4 hour class. $69 each for two or more with one payment.

"The field trip was informative because you got to see tools used, different wire, etc."
