Darrell received his Bachelor of Science degree in 1980 at Ball State University in Secondary Education with Radio and Television as his content area. His academic advising career started in 1990 at Indiana University South Bend with the Freshman Division. During that time, he received a Master of Science degree in Counseling and Human Services from Indiana University South Bend in 1992. He has served as an academic advisor for over 13 years. Darrell also served as the Coordinator of Reinstatement Services in the Freshman Division for nine years and for a brief time as the Academic Coordinator in the School of the Arts. He came to the School of Education in the fall of 2001 as an undergraduate academic advisor.
