Dr. Linton received his doctoral degree in Counselor Education and Supervision from Western Michigan University with specializations in substance abuse, couples and family counseling, and supervision. He holds a masters degree in psychology from Valparaiso University and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Michigan. Dr. Linton has provided mental health and substance abuse counseling in prisons and jails, community agencies,and private practice settings. He publishes and consults frequently on substance abuse issues.
