Background:
I have taught elementary through advanced Japanese language at IU South Bend since 1994. Before coming to IU South Bend, I taught at Southwestern Michigan College.
Teaching Interests:
I teach all levels of Japanese language, literature, and culture.
Other Interests:
I hold a B.S. in Art Education. I combine my interest in Second-Language Acquisition, Japanese art and culture, and K-12 education through volunteer activities and cultural presentations such as IU South Bend's Mini University. I am also the faculty advisor for the Japanese Club and a resource for students seeking information about study abroad in Japan.
