Background:
I studied at the Universidad de Salamanca (Spain) and obtained my doctorate at Washington University in St Louis.
Teaching Interests:
I teach Spanish language, literature, and culture.
Research Interests:
My areas of specialization are Spanish Medieval and Early Modern Literature and Second Language Instruction. My forthcoming book, Poesía y Violencia (Cálamo, Palencia: 2009), studies the representation of violence in the 1207 Poema de mio Cid.
