*Professor Green has taught elementary through advanced Japanese language at IU South Bend since 1994. Before coming to IU South Bend, she taught at Southwestern Michigan College.

*Sensei Yoshiko Green holds a B.S. in Art Education. She combines her interest in Second-Language Acquisition, Japanese art and culture, and K-12 education through volunteer activities and cultural presentations such as IU South Bend's Mini University.

If you are interested in learning more about Japan -- sumo? sushi? Sailor Moon? -- consider enrolling in the popular summer course EALC E271-20th Century Japanese Culture.  The course offers travel tips, basic language use, and a fascinating overview of Japan and its people.

*Prof. Green is the faculty advisor for the Japanese Club and a resource for students seeking information about study abroad in Japan.
