Our masters' degree programs prepare you for a
lifetime of learning. Successful people know that to remain
viable in the work place, they must train for the future. Each
of our graduates is better prepared to take leadership positions
because of the knowledge, analytical and critical thinking
skills they developed in our program.
We cater to the part-time MBA student by offering a wide variety
of courses during the evening hours. We make it possible for you
to continue in your present position while attending classes
after work. Our program helps you polish and accentuate your
existing business skills and develop new ones. A master degree
can help you achieve career advancement in your current field or
help prepare you for a new career in the business world.
Most of our students already hold responsible
business-management positions. Indeed, the majority of our
business graduate students hold down full-time jobs while
pursuing their master's degree. The typical candidate enters the
program because their present or future position requires
increased managerial competence.
While there is opportunity for specialization, we emphasize
development of the candidate's breadth of focus, imagination,
and creativity. By selecting students who have demonstrated a
potential for assuming increasing responsibilities as managers,
and by providing a degree that meets the highest national
standards of accreditation, the IUSB Masters of Business
Administration serves the need of regional employers that
compete internationally.

Graduate Admission Standards
The Admissions Committee may admit the
applicant into the program in one of two
statuses:
The Admissions Committee may grant Full
Admission to those applicants who have completed
their application, have a solid managerial work
experience and have presented persuasive
responses to their application essay questions
as well as having met the minimum credential
requirements as proscribed by AACSB guidelines.
These credentials include a minimum GMAT score
of 450 and an undergraduate GPA of 2.75 from
this or another AACSB accredited school.
The Admissions Committee may occasionally grant
Probationary Admission to those applicants who
have completed their application, have a record
of solid managerial work experience, have strong
letters of recommendation, met the minimum GMAT
score, and have presented persuasive responses
to their application essay questions, but whose
GPA does not quite meet the minimum standards.
Other considerations given these applicants are
a unique work experience background,
post-graduate work, and last two years of
undergraduate work as well as their GMAT scores.
These are persons who the Admission Committee
feels may have high promise in spite of not
conforming to the minimum GPA standards.
The Admissions Committee will inform those
candidates entering the program on probation
that they cannot continue in the program if
their GPA drops below 2.75 for course work taken
in the graduate program. Fully admitted
candidates will have six hours of graduate work
to bring their GPA up to 2.75 should it ever
fall below. Graduate business students must have
a 2.75 to qualify for graduation.
