Dr. Frank Fujita,

Frank Fujita received a B.S.
in Psychology from Tennessee Technological University and an A.M. and Ph.D. in
Psychology from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. He joined the IU
South Bend faculty in 1994 and was promoted to Full Professor in 2006. His research
focuses on Subjective Well-Being, commonly referred to as happiness. His vita

fan of natural history documentaries, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the West Wing,
Firefly, and House. His musical taste is unrefined, tending toward artists like
Barry Manilow, George Winston, Enya, and Avril Lavigne. In his spare time, Frank
likes to play turn-based strategy computer games, act in minor roles in
Community Theater, and walk along the river for exercise.

Jared Ewald,

In August 2004, Jared Ewald
became the Honors Program Administrative Assistant. A senior, he is pursuing a major in computer science and plans to become a
computer programmer. His interests in the field include artificial intelligence, graphics, and innovative software development for business. In addition to his work
on behalf of the Honors Program, he is the Vice President of the Student Alumni Association and is the senior advisor for Phi Eta Sigma, the freshman scholastic
honorary. In his spare time, he enjoys listening to an eclectic selection of music, watching animé, and tinkering
with electronics.
