Luiz's Samba Classes
This year, Luiz brings everybody to join the Brazilian Style Party with Carnival at South Dining Hall, University of Notre Dame on February 13. This year’s Carnival, a Brazilian celebration of Mardi Gras, will feature the samba and axé music of Chicago Samba(See details). However, Luiz is going to lead everyone to dance in a Bloco Parade—a Carnival parade of groups of revelers in costume—and a costume contest. We, as guests, will dress costume, form blocos—groups—and participate in the parade and/or contest! We may win a prize in the costume contest, or a door prize for attendance and receive festive Carnival beads.
