ISO Valentine's Day Matching Game

If you are looking for love this Valentine's Day, or even just a bit of fun, IU South Bend is the place to be. The International Student Organization and the "Titan Love' division of Titan Productions are hosting separate events to celebrate this happy day.

On Wednesday and Thursday, February 11 and 12, the ISO will be selling flowers on the main floor of the Student Activity Center. On Friday February 13, they will host a Valentine's Day celebration and dating game in room 221 and 223 on the upper level of the SAC.

"Last year was our first year celebrating Valentine's DAy," said ISO president Felix Marquez. "We wanted to introduce this widely celebrated holiday to the international students." Althought hosted by the ISO, the party is open to all students, and will last from 5:30p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and be followed by a trip to Notre Dame for the Brazilian Carnaval.

In addition to the ISO's celebration, on Thursday, February 12, Titan Productions will have its own dating game show, with special Valentine's Day gifts for all students who attend. 25 male students will compete for a chance of  a date with Katrina, "Future Kindergarten Teacher," while 25 female students will compete for a date with David, "The Frat Guy."

"It's like that old TV show, 'Singled Out,'" said Jacquie Williams of Titan Productions. The prizes of the show will be vouchers for $50.00 at Red Lobster, and a movie, for each of the happy contestant couples. The Titan Productions dating game will be at 7 p.m. on the gym floor of the SAC and addtional details can be found on their MySpace and Facebook pages if you search "Titanpro."
