In case of utility failure, immediately call campus police at 520‑4239. Be prepared to give:

If available, notify the maintenance person for the school or department.
Each school or department should prepare a contingency plan based on their particular needs.
Each person in charge of a lab needs to have written emergency procedures in order to minimize possible hazards in such cases (ie., water, electric, gas or steam shutdown).
Buildings should be evacuated during utility shutdown or failure. Emergency lighting is temporary and is not provided to continue building operations.
