Scams and Viruses

Facebook has experienced an attack by the "Koobface" virus which is used to gather users' sensitive information such as credit card numbers.  Messages from infected computers have headers such as "You look just awesome in this new movie".  When the recipient clicks on the link to view the video, they are asked to upgrade their Adobe Flash Player, which actually downloads the virus, infecting their computer.

Remember: To be safe, always go directly to a trusted site, such as Adobe, to get the latest updates.
