Introduction
Strategic Plan 2010 is a collaborative effort between
Environmental Scanning Teams,
Campus Directions Committee, and the Strategic Planning Advisory Committee
(see chart).
Beginning March 12, 2008 the Indiana University South Bend community has been engaged in an External Environmental Scanning process. Environment Scanning is a
process of collecting information and analyzing forces external to the university. The goal is to identify potential
threats and opportunities (trends) with a view on generating future strategies which will guide development of an
effective university strategic plan.
