Franklin D. Schurz Library

Background Image
The IU South Bend Libraries contain over one million items (monographs, serials, electronic databases and indexes, audio-visual materials, special collections, and federal government publications) accessible through IUCAT, the statewide online catalog for all Indiana University libraries. The majority of the collection is housed in the Schurz Library. A collection focusing on K-12 curriculum materials is available in the Educational Resource Commons.

The Schurz Library also provides access to a large number of electronic databases, electronic reference sources, and online journals available on campus or remotely. The collections of the Schurz Library and Educational Resource Commons are available to IU South Bend students, faculty, and staff, as well as to citizens of Indiana and the Michiana area.

The links below provide more details about the collections. Please contact Susan Thomas, Head of Collection Development, for further information.
