The Hammes Information Commons is a collaborative effort by the Library, Instructional Media Services, and Information Technologies. It brings together a rich array of print and electronic resources, technology, and services provided by reference librarians, technology assistants, and multimedia specialists. Students will be able to research topics, write their papers, tabulate data, design web pages, or develop e-portfolios or multimedia presentations all in one location.

Location

The Hammes Information Commons is located on the 1st floor of the Schurz Library, opposite to the Circulation Desk. The Service Desk is located at the entrance of the Hammes Information Commons.

Hours

The Hammes Information Commons is available for use when the library is open. Service Desk hours are as follows:

Reference Librarian Hours Monday - Thursday: 9 am - 10 pm Friday: 9 am - 5 pm Saturday: 10 am - 5 pm Sunday: 12 noon - 9 pm

IT Lab Consultant Hours Monday - Thursday: 8 am - midnight Friday: 8 am - 6 pm Saturday: 9 am - 8 pm Sunday: 11 am - midnight

Media Specialist Hours Available by appointment.
