The goals of public relations and outreach at the IU South Bend Libraries are

• To establish and maintain a dialogue with campus, university, and community groups to keep them informed of library services, collections, and access issues.
• To investigate campus and university developments (curriculum, policies) and promote library materials and services which complement these developments.
• Promotion of the libraries' vital role on campus through excellent customer service.
