Film studies is an interdisciplinary program that examines film form, theory, criticism, aesthetics, and history.
Students can take courses related to film, such American History through Film, Film Adaptations, and Introduction to
German Film. The program is administered by the Film Studies Committee, and includes courses from several areas,
including English, comparative literature, history, and foreign languages.
