Students in religious studies take coursework focusing on the nature of the religious quest, the main historical traditions of religion, and the roles that religion plays in culture and everyday life. IU South Bend offers an associate degree program that is administered by the Religious Studies Committee. A minor in religious studies is also offered.

Careers

Students in religious studies develop critical, analytical, and communication skills that are valued in many areas. Graduates with this degree work in both public and private sectors, including business, nonprofit agencies, healthcare, community service, and religious organizations.
