Public Advocacy, Organizational Communication, and Interpersonal Communication

You can pursue a degree which will lead to a  Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication. Within this degree you can choose to  concentrate in public advocacy, organizational communication, or interpersonal communication. The study of speech communication focuses on oral communication and language. Study in this area develops your abilities in speaking, listening, analyzing, synthesizing, and problem solving.

Careers

Speech communication prepares you for numerous professions that involve working with people, including education, management, training, corporate communication, public relations, human resources, sales, advertising, health and social services, marketing, and politics.
