DAILY PARKING

Parking for the 125 E. Franklin Street location will be available at the lot across from the front entrance or on the upper level of the parking garage on East Marion Street (across from the back entrance). 

STUDENT INFORMATION

•    Computer laboratory open hours are available over 60 hours every week, including Saturday

•    IU South Bend is smoke free according to state law

•    Placement tests are offered numerous times throughout the year

•    Scholarship information can be picked up in the student services area

•    Security is on duty  while classes are in session and available to walk students to their cars

•    Student lounge is available for students looking for a place to meet and study  

BOOKSTORE

Bookstore hours: Monday - Thursday from 2:00 to 5:30. 

Books for the courses offered in Elkhart, as well as courses from  the South Bend campus, can be purchased at the IU South Bend Elkhart Center book store. 

A limited selection of merchandise is available and they are able to fill requests.

CANCEL CLASSES DUE TO WEATHER
When the main IU South Bend campus is closed, IU South Bend classes at all sites will be cancelled. Classes held at Elkhart high schools and the Elkhart Center , as well as Plymouth or Concord high schools will be cancelled when their respective school districts cancel classes because of weather conditions. Local TV and radio stations will announce closings.

ONE START
Remember you can access your current student information through OneStart found at onestart.iu.edu . Look up fees, grades, financial aid, unofficial transcripts, and other helpful information. OneStart will ask for your login name and password to gain access to this system. Registration is also available from the self-service page at OneStart.

Be sure to stop by the "Scholarship Corner" in the student services area of the Elkhart Center to look at the updated display of information.  Applications materials (including deadlines for applying!) are available for the Verizon Scholarship, IU Alumni Club of Elkhart County, the IUSB Elkhart County Scholarship, the Elkhart Center Scholarship, the Career Women's Guild Scholarship, and others.  Additional information can be found at  http://www.iusb.edu/~scholar1/
