University Housing

IU South Bend does not have a residence hall system.  Single international students can live in our university-owned apartments.

The apartment units are new for fall 2008.   They are located across the river and are a short walk across our pedestrian bridge from campus and also shopping and restaurants. One bedroom, two bedroom and four bedroom style apartments are available.  The apartments will be furnished but students must supply their own dishes, linens, etc.  The rent includes utilities, telephone and internet access.  Please access the new housing website at www.housing.iusb.edu for an application, rates and apartment layout. The housing Application Fee is $25.00 and the deposit is $200.  Click here for information about paying the housing deposit and fee for international students.  For more information on IU South Bend apartments, including rates and availability, please email.

IU South Bend does not provide housing for married students or couples.

The deposit for the apartment will be returned at the end of your stay in University housing, if the apartment is left in a clean condition.

Security deposits will not be refunded to students who leave their apartment in poor condition.
