Admission Requirements(Conditional Admission)
Master of Science in Education (MSEd) -Secondary Education, Elementary Education, Special Education, Human Service and Counseling
Conditional Acceptance: Applicants who submit the items below and have met the academic requirements could be issued a conditional admission letter to the MS Ed programs. To be formally admitted to the MS Ed programs, a student with an undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 out of 4.0 or above will need to successfully complete Level 109 at TLC:South Bend, Level 112 at ELS or obtain a minimum TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based); 213 (computer based), or 79(internet-based). A student with an undergraduate grade point average (GPA) less than 3.0 out of 4.0 will need to obtain the minimum GRE examination scores which are 450 in the verbal and 3.5 on the analytical (there is no Math requirement) and successfully complete Level 109 at SBEI, Level 112 at ELS or obtain a minimum TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based); 213 (computer based), or 79 (internet-based).
